In 2019, Kaveh Süle made history by founding the Kandinsky Symphony Orchestra, quickly establishing it as a premier ensemble in Armenia. Under his visionary leadership, the orchestra has performed an extraordinary range of repertoire, captivating audiences at the Armenian Philharmonic Hall. As a conductor and music director, his achievements are unparalleled; Kaveh Süle has recorded over 100 works of contemporary composers, including numerous world premieres, showcasing his dedication to the advancement of modern classical music.
The Kandinsky Orchestra, under his direction, has become a beacon for international talent, hosting a diverse array of composers and soloists from around the globe. These distinguished artists have had their works performed in the prestigious Armenian Philharmonic Hall and Komitas Chamber Hall.
 

Kaveh Pouretemad known as Kaveh Süle stands as one of the most unique conductors and artistic directors in the classical music world today, leading the acclaimed Kandinsky Symphony Orchestra in Armenia.
He began his early music education in Tehran, Iran, and graduated with top honors from the Tehran University of Art in composition. During this time, he honed his skills under the tutelage of Alexander Rahbari in orchestral conducting. Kaveh’s pursuit of excellence continued at the prestigious Komitas Conservatory of Yerevan, where he studied under the renowned Professor Hovhannes Mirzoyan and received guidance from Eduard Topchjan, the conductor of the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra.

In 2024, Kaveh Süle achieved another milestone by collaborating with the world-renowned conductor Vasily Petrenko to hold an academy for young conductors. Kaveh Süle led his Kandinsky Orchestra, which served as the special orchestra for the academy, hosting Vasily Petrenko and six of the most promising young conductors from different countries.

Kandinsky Orchestra

The Kandinsky Orchestra began its concert activities in 2020 and has rapidly become an importanT part of Armenia's musical life.

Bringing together approximately eighty musicians, the orchestra is led by its founder Kaveh Süle, who serves as Artistic Director and Chief Conductor.

Its repertoire spans the full history of orchestral music from the Baroque era through the greatRomantic tradition and into the modern and contemporary periods.

Since its founding, the orchestra has collaborated with numerous soloists and guest artists, given several world premiere performances, and worked closely with Armenia's leading institutions including the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra.

Among its most notable achievements is its role as the resident orchestra of the Vasily Petrenko Academy, an international conducting academy bringing together the world's most promising young conductors. Through its performances, premieres, and recordings, Kandinsky Orchestra continues to enrich Armenia's cultural life while building its international artistic connections.
