The recording sessions at Kandinsky Music Society are performed by a carefully selected group of principal musicians from the Kandinsky Orchestra artists with extensive experience in both live performance and professional studio recording. Each project is approached with the same level of artistic commitment and technical precision that defines every Kandinsky production.
Gayane Aslanyan is an Armenian pianist and composer, born and raised in Yerevan. She began her studies at the age of five; ever since, she has captivated audiences with her talent and innovative style. Gayane is a laureate of numerous Armenian and international piano competitions, including winning top prizes at the international multimedia competition for pianists and musicologists "Earth and Sky" (Russia, 2019), the "Mozart" Piano Competition (2011), and the Valsesia Musica Piano Competition (2008) in Italy, Silver medal at the 5th International Competition The Muse (Greece, 2009).

After her First prize at the Arno Babajanyan International Piano Competition (Armenia, 2015), she was immediately invited to perform Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G with the Armenian State Symphonic Orchestra under the baton of Yuri Davtyan at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall.
As a composer, Gayane Aslanyan (aka Gaiahne) creates music centered around the piano, blending acoustic and classical traditions with ethereal electronic textures. As an electronic artist, she has participated in projects such as Kap by Chronofest and Hosq Labs, as well as a live performance for the Fine Arts Academy’s graduation ceremony. In 2025, she served as a Jury member for the Composition section at the International Music Competition in Barletta (Italy).
Her passion for chamber music regularly brings her to all major Armenian stages and festivals, including the Armenian Composers’ Festival and the Harutyunyan Wind Festival. Gayane is a guest pianist with the Ensemble Assonance, renowned in Armenia and abroad for its dedication to promoting contemporary music.
In addition to her classical pursuits, Gayane has expanded her creativity by incorporating innovative elements into her performances, such as integrating lighting effects into her solo concert at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts in Yerevan (2023), where she performed her own compositions alongside the works by Alexander Scriabin and Eric Satie. In 2022, Gayanne was awarded the “Best Accompanist” special prize at the Aram Khachaturian International Cello Competition in Yerevan. A year later, she was invited to the Theatre of Digital Art in Dubai, where she delighted audiences with renditions of Studio Ghibli anime soundtracks and iconic video game themes, resulting in sold-out shows.
Gayane Aslanyan graduated from the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory, class of Professor Vagharshak Harutyunyan. Before that, she studied with Karine Harutyunyan at the Spendiaryan Music School. Gayane also attended master classes by Kirill Gerstein, Bernd Goetzke, Pavel Gililov, Grigory Gruzman, Ekiko Abi, and Svetlana Navasardyan.
Tigran Petrosyan was born in 1997 in Gyumri, Armenia, where his musical journey began at an early age. He completed his Master’s degree at the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory in the class of Professor G.R. Avanesov, before continuing his advanced studies at the prestigious Gnessin Academy of Music in Moscow under Professor Y.A. Bogdanov one of Russia’s most distinguished institutions for piano performance.
Tigran Petrosyan — Piano
A prizewinner at international competitions across France, Russia, Armenia, and Georgia, Tigran’s most distinguished honour came in 2018 when he received the highest award of the President of the Republic of Armenia, granted to outstanding young classical music performers. This recognition placed him among the most promising pianists of his generation in the country.
His concert career has taken him to stages in France, Russia, Armenia, and Georgia, where he has performed both as soloist and chamber musician. In 2021 he made a celebrated debut with the Kandinsky Symphony Orchestra in Yerevan, performing one of the most demanding works in the piano repertoire — Rachmaninoff’s Third Piano Concerto — under the baton of Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Kaveh Süle. The performance marked a significant milestone in his artistic development and cemented his relationship with the Kandinsky Music Society, with which he continues to collaborate as a principal member of the Vasily Kandinsky Quartet.
Armen Aghajanyan is an Armenian pianist, organist, accompanist, and chamber musician.
Born in Charentsavan, Armenia, he received his initial musical education at the Aram Khachaturian Music School of Charentsavan. He continued his studies at the Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan, where he also completed postgraduate studies, earning qualifications as a pianist, organist, piano pedagogue, chamber ensemble performer, and accompanist.
Throughout his distinguished career, Aghajanyan has held teaching and administrative positions at several leading music institutions in Armenia, including the Aram Khachaturian Music School of Charentsavan, where he served as Vice Principal for Academic Affairs from 2001 to 2012, the Tchaikovsky Secondary Specialized Music School, the Alexander Spendiaryan Music School, and the Barsegh Kanachyan School of Arts.
He currently serves as Concertmaster and Organ Technician at the Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan. Since 2023, he has also been the Organist of the National Centre of Chamber Music of Armenia.
As a soloist, chamber musician, and collaborative artist, Armen Aghajanyan has performed extensively in Armenia and abroad, appearing in Russia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, France, Bulgaria, and Austria.
He has served as a jury member of the Arno Babajanyan Republican Competition (2012) and the International Competition “New Pianists” in Sofia, Bulgaria (2018, 2019).
Aghajanyan has collaborated with many of Armenia’s leading musical institutions, including the Armenian State Chamber Orchestra, Yerevan Chamber Orchestra, Armenian State Philharmonic Orchestra, Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, Armenian State Chamber Choir, Yerevan State Chamber Choir, and the Tagharan Ensemble of Ancient Music.
His chamber music and collaborative activities have brought him together with distinguished artists such as cellists Medea Abrahamyan and Alexey Seleznyov, mezzo-soprano Narine Matinyan, and qanun performer Tsolinar Hovhannisyan.
